Information evening invisibly ill: Epilepsy This autumn, Lotgenoten, Synthese and BiblioNu are organising a new event in the series invisibly ill. This time, epilepsy will take centre stage. Epilepsy is a condition in which people can have seizures due to a sudden, temporary disruption of electrical signals in the brain. In the Netherlands, it is estimated that between 120,000 and 200,000 people live with epilepsy, about 1 in 150 people. This makes it one of the most common brain disorders. Although epilepsy can occur at any age, it is most common in children and the elderly. Sign up at lotgenotenhorst@gmail.com Where and when will the information evening take place? Monday 12 October 2026 from 19.30 to 21.00 at 't Gasthoes, theatre hall.
