Het Wijnhuis in Baarlo is the place for anyone who loves peace and quiet, nature and enjoying together in an atmospheric setting. This luxury holiday home is perfect for family weekends, groups of friends, retreats and multi-day gatherings. Here you stay amid the orchards, with plenty of space, privacy and the real outdoor feeling of North Limburg. The Wine House is located at the edge of the orchard, in the middle of the Görtz family's fruit farm. Fruit has been grown here for generations and their own Fruit Farm juices, among other things, are made here. Escaping from the hustle and bustle, enjoying the outdoors and making beautiful memories together, that's what it's all about here.
When will you visit?
Fruit Farm Baarlo makes every season special. In spring the orchards bloom beautifully, in summer you enjoy long evenings outside and during harvest season the farmyard comes alive with ripe fruit on the trees. In autumn and winter, too, it is a lovely place to relax together in a warm, rural atmosphere.
Accommodation
Set free in the greenery, the Wine House combines rural charm with modern comforts. The accommodation can accommodate up to 16 people and comprises:
- 6x bedrooms all with private sanitary facilities
- 2x double bedstead + large bathroom
- cosy living room with wood-burning stove
- living kitchen
- covered terrace and large (play) garden
- additional multifunctional space in the greenhouse
Region tip: The icon in the neighbourhood
Baarlo is known as the castle village of Limburg. Take a nice walk past the castles, the historic village centre and the river Maas. Take the ferry to Steyl and discover the monasteries, the Mission Museum and the cosy monastery brewery.
Baarlo also has a lot to offer culinarily. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Centraal Baarlo, known for its award-winning terrace that was voted one of the best terraces in the Netherlands. There are also plenty of beautiful cycling and walking routes along the river Maas and through the North Limburg countryside.
