Minicamping 't Haasje is one of those places where you immediately feel: this is where you come to rest. You camp in the countryside among fruit trees and fields, dive into the heated pool and then take some time out in the sauna. Great for peace seekers, dog lovers and anyone who likes to be outdoors.
Who is this a real getaway for?
This is a wonderful place for campers who like to stay small, quiet and friendly. In particular, couples, peace-seekers and adults who enjoy cycling or walking during the day and then taking a swim will quickly feel at home here. Families looking for a little less stimulation are also well catered for here. And do you bring your dog? Then you'll be right at home here, as this campsite is traditionally geared to that.
When will you visit?
As soon as spring shows up, things start itching here. Spots have already been offered at Easter in 2026 and arrangements for Ascension and Pentecost also run in spring. In summer, this is a fine base for long cycling days and lazy afternoons by the pool. And especially in the post-season, it is extra nice and quiet here.
What to expect.
You can count on peace, space and personal attention. You’ll be camping on a small-scale, car-free site with 17 pitches, 10-amp electricity, free Wi-Fi and a refurbished toilet block right next to the swimming pool. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm; a quick chat, a chance to unwind, a moment to do nothing. Did you know that the sanitary facilities were completely refurbished in 2023? You’ll notice it straight away as soon as you step inside.
For a few days, you'll be away from it all here, but a longer stay also suits this place well. Arrivals are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with departures any day of the week. You are in the countryside on the edge of woodland and arable land, with plenty of cycling and walking routes nearby. Most of the campsite is car-free, so your car is parked in the central car park. Dogs and cats are welcome, up to three standard and more by arrangement. The campsite is not fully wheelchair accessible, but there are several facilities for guests with reduced mobility.
When are you welcome?
You’re welcome to arrive from 1.00 pm, and on the day of departure, you can take your time to check out by 11.00 am. Outside July and August and outside public holidays, you can book a camping stay on the homepage for as little as two nights. During the May half-term holidays, a minimum stay of 4 nights applies; during the summer holidays, it’s usually 7 nights; and for a weekend, a minimum of 3 nights. For Ascension Day and Whitsun in 2026, the campsite will be offering a combined package.
Our tip for your visit
If possible, book a spot with afternoon and evening sun. Places 2 to 10 and 15 to 17 are particularly lovely for this. After a day outdoors, it’s especially nice to linger there for a while with a drink, whilst the evening gently descends over the fields.
The icon nearby
The nearest major attraction is Toverland Theme Park in Sevenum. This combination is a winner, as you can soak up all the excitement, thrills and fun of the park during the day, then return to a campsite where things quieten down. That’s what makes a weekend break just that bit more special.
