Spend the night amongst the cows and chickens at BoeBaDoe FarmCamps in Beringe. You’ll stay in a glamping tent on farmer Bart’s farm. Here, you can experience the North Limburg countryside!
Who is this a real getaway for?
This is the perfect spot for families who love animals, muddy boots and long days outdoors. Young children and horse lovers in particular will find plenty to see and do here. They can feed the animals, collect eggs, explore the vegetable garden and get to know the ponies and horses.
It’s also a great choice for parents who love being outdoors but don’t want to have to lug half a camping shop with them. Are you mainly looking for peace and quiet without children playing around you? Then a small-scale nature cottage is probably a better fit.
When will you visit?
In spring, it’s lovely to explore the farmyard together at a leisurely pace. In summer, life takes place almost entirely outdoors. During the school holidays, there’s a livelier atmosphere and children quickly find playmates. Outside the holiday periods, the farmyard usually feels a bit quieter.
From July, the range will be expanded from eight to twelve luxury tents. This will offer more options, but it will remain a well-organised farm where children can easily find their way around.
What to expect.
You’ll stay in a fully equipped tent with proper beds and your own kitchen. The exact bathroom facilities and other fittings vary depending on the tent type. So, when booking, please check carefully which tent you’re choosing.
At Buiten, everything revolves around farm life. The farmyard is home to cows, horses, ponies, goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits, amongst others. Children can go go-karting, climbing, jumping, playing football and playing with sand and water. Please bear in mind that this is a real farm. A bit of sand in your shoes and the sounds of animals in the morning are simply part of the experience.
When are you welcome?
FarmCamps operates with fixed arrival and departure days and a minimum stay of two nights. Check-in is normally between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm. On Mondays and Fridays, you must check out by 10.00 am. After a short weekend stay, you can usually stay until 5.00 pm on Sundays. Different times may apply around public holidays.
Our tip for your visit
Don’t plan every day to the brim. It’s often a morning when the children wander off of their own accord from the go-kart track to the animals and the vegetable garden that yields the finest moments. Pack some old clothes, put on your wellies and just let them get on with it.
Region tip: The icon in the neighbourhood
Combine your stay with a day at Toverland in Sevenum, in the municipality of Horst aan de Maas. After all the rollercoasters, shows and water fun, it’s especially lovely to return to the peaceful farmstead in Beringe. That way, you get both action and the great outdoors in a single stay.

BoeBaDoe’s main appeal lies in the direct contact with the animals and the space to play freely. It doesn’t feel like an ordinary holiday park that just happens to have a petting farm next door. Here, farm life is very much the centre of attention. That makes this place ideal for families with young children. For those seeking peace and quiet without children, the farmyard can be a bit lively during the holiday season.
Yes, toddlers and pre-schoolers in particular will find plenty of familiar activities here. Think of watching animals, playing in the sand and water, helping out with small farm chores and playing in the farmyard. As it remains a working farm, adult supervision is essential.
Facilities vary depending on the type of tent. Many FarmCamps tents have their own bathroom facilities, but always check the description of your chosen tent when booking. That way, you won’t be in for any surprises.
Dogs are not permitted at every FarmCamps farm or in every type of tent. Please therefore specify that you are bringing your dog straight away when searching and booking. The booking module will then only show suitable options.
