As soon as the morning sun lights up the Grotestraat, it is great to relax on the terrace with a fresh smoothie or homemade ice tea. Even on cooler days, the delicious smells of freshly baked banana bread and soup draw you in. It is the ideal stopover during a day of shopping in the cosy city centre or as a resting point after a walk in the region.

What to expect.
Expect a menu full of surprises where almost every dish has a vegetarian variant, such as the popular avocado toast or rich shakshuka. The passion for the craft can be seen in the latte art and the carefully chosen local products that form the basis for all the goodies. Did you know they also offer Take-Away here, so you can simply take your favourite coffee into your day? Take your time, as for a full experience, we recommend a stay of about an hour to an hour and a half. The bar is located in a lively area with plenty of paid parking in the nearby car parks or in the Council House Square. It has excellent wheelchair access and free wifi for your business appointments. Do you have specific requirements such as gluten-free or vegan food? The staff will be happy to help you make a conscious and tasty choice.

When are the gates open?
You are welcome to step inside seven days a week. From Monday to Friday from 08:30 for early enjoyers, and on weekends the doors open at 09:00. The bar closes daily at 16:00, just in time to explore the rest of Venray with a satisfied feeling.
