This is a wonderful spot for those seeking peace and quiet, walkers, cyclists and campers who appreciate a small-scale, personalised experience. It’s also the perfect place to visit with your family: there’s plenty of space on and around the estate to play, explore and simply enjoy being outdoors. Are you looking to escape the rush, the crowds and the hassle, but want a place where you’ll quickly feel at home? Then this is the place for you.

When will you visit?

As soon as the first mild spring days show up, things start itching here. In summer, this is one of those addresses where you want to linger for a long time. But it is also nice here in spring and autumn, precisely because the estate feels extra quiet then and you can hear nature even better.

What to expect.

Look forward to a stay filled with nature, simplicity and Limburg hospitality. You’ll camp in a sheltered spot near the farm and the hedgerow, with no through traffic passing by. On the estate, you’ll also find a small shop selling organic produce grown on the land, and you can pull up a chair on the terrace for coffee, soft drinks and a tasty treat. Did you know that parts of this farm date back to around 1600? You can sense that immediately in the atmosphere of this place.

For a relaxing visit or a stop-off, even a couple of hours is lovely, especially if you’re popping in for a coffee and a slice of vlaai or a walk across the estate. If you stay the night, that’s when you really get to soak up the tranquillity. The atmosphere is green and rural, with orchards, fields and plenty of peace and quiet all around you. Parking here is usually conveniently arranged nearby, although this isn’t specifically mentioned on the website. Dogs are welcome at the campsite, provided they are kept on a lead; however, pets are not permitted in the off-grid kota.

When are you welcome?

The site is closed between 1 November and 13 March 2026. Outside this period, the campsite is open. The small shop is open from 10.00 to 15.00 from November to March, except on Sundays. It’s a good idea to check the website for the very latest opening times each day.

Don’t arrive too late in the day; instead, plan a quiet moment in the afternoon. That way, you’ll have plenty of time to settle down first with a coffee and a slice of vlaai on the terrace, then take a stroll around the estate, and only then unpack your things. That way, your stay here will begin exactly as it should: without any rush.

That combination is golden, because during the day you get to enjoy all the action, speed and fun of the park, and afterwards you return to a place where it’s quiet, the sky is wide open and you can unwind for a while.
