Who is this a real getaway for?

This is a wonderful place for hikers, cyclists, motorhome owners and peace seekers who are happy with space, silence and fine views over the fields. Also, if you like staying in a small, well-kept campsite rather than a busy holiday park, this is the place to be. Its location near the river Maas, the rose village of Lottum and nature reserves such as De Maasduinen and Het Schuitwater makes this extra nice for people who like to go out during the day and want to land peacefully in the evening.

When will you visit?

From spring to deep autumn, this is a fine base. In the rose season from June to September, Lottum is at its most beautiful, with fragrant fields in bloom along your walking or cycling route. Also in spring and autumn, Boszicht is a hit if you like fresh mornings, quiet paths and being outside a lot.

What to expect.

Camping Boszicht is all about small-scale camping with comfort. You'll stay in the outskirts of Lottum, with 15 spacious camping pitches, 6 spacious campervan pitches, free wifi and 10 amp electricity and a water tap at every pitch. The luxurious, heated sanitary building gives that extra nice feeling. Did you know that the Pieterpad runs about 1 kilometre from the campsite? That makes this spot particularly attractive for hikers who walk for several days.

In practical terms, this is primarily a place to get away from it all for several days; during many periods, there is a minimum stay of 4 to 7 nights for camping pitches and 2 to 4 nights for motorhome pitches. Here, you’ll find yourself in the heart of a peaceful, green setting with unobstructed views over the Lottum fields and the River Meuse, less than 2 kilometres away. Dogs will no longer be permitted from 2026.

When are you welcome?

You are welcome in season 2026 from Monday 30 March to Monday 26 October. For camping and RV sites, the rule is usually: arrive between 1pm and 7pm and leave before 5pm. You cannot arrive on Sundays, but leaving is allowed. This makes Boszicht feel above all like a place to take your time, rather than a quick stop in between.
