Who is this a real getaway for?

This is a fine place for hikers, cyclists and couples who like to stay small. If you walk the Pieterpad, then you're in an extra good spot here, as the B&B is located on the Groesbeek-Gennep and Gennep-Vierlingsbeek stages. When will you visit?

In spring and autumn, it's extra nice here, with fresh air, quiet paths and plenty of walking. In summer, this is one of those addresses where, after a day outdoors, you come back for peace and quiet, a good bed and a breakfast you'll be happy to sit down for the next morning.

What to expect.

You stay here in a former pottery and mushroom farm converted into a warm and well-kept B&B with four guest rooms. Two rooms are upstairs, two rooms have their own entrance and private terrace on the ground floor. Did you know that the building still has reminders of the old pottery, including a display case with ceramics from the past?

For a night away, you're already in the right place, but even two nights here soon feel like a mini-vacation. You stay in the outskirts of Gennep, with hiking, cycling and canoeing on the Niers within easy reach. Parking is available on site. Dogs are not allowed. For less mobile guests, the rooms on the ground floor are most convenient, as the other rooms are reached by stairs. Breakfast is included and there are local and homemade products; a packed lunch is also available on request.

This B&B operates by reservation. Check-in is between 15:00 and 18:00 and check-out between 07:00 and 11:00. Its own room sites also state that later or earlier can sometimes be by arrangement, so coordinating before departure is smart.
