Who is this a real getaway for?

Fancy some quality time together without a packed schedule? Lilly’s Boshuisje is ideal for couples, friends and families who love being outdoors but also want comfort indoors. With two double beds, there’s room for four people. A camp cot can be booked as an extra for the little ones.

When will you visit?

In spring, you open the door and hear the birds singing amongst the trees. Summer days are made for sitting outside for hours. In autumn and winter, it’s cosy by the pellet stove. And that wood-fired hot tub? That might just feel best when it’s a bit chilly outside.

What to expect.

As soon as you see the windows of Lilly’s Boshuisje, you’ll understand why the outdoors feels so close by here. The cottage stands on a small hill in a wooded park, amongst the pine trees and surrounded by plenty of privacy. Inside, the large picture window, pellet stove and tranquil décor create a cosy spot to settle down. Outside, a wood-fired hot tub awaits amongst the greenery.

You can stay here with up to four people. There are two spacious bedrooms with double beds, and a camp cot can be booked for the little ones. The bathroom feels almost like a small spa, with underfloor heating, a bath and a large walk-in shower. In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook at your leisure, and afterwards you can simply sit down at your own table.

Did you know that Rob and Renate took over Lilly’s Boshuisje in June 2025? They share a love of DIY projects, good food, great coffee and the great outdoors. They want to gradually infuse the cottage with that same attention to atmosphere and hospitality, without losing its familiar character. On arrival, bed linen and a starter pack including coffee, tea and herbs are provided. There’s also wood ready to light the hot tub once. After that, there’s really not much else you need.

Why this will be your favourite stop in the region

De Groote Peel National Park also lies on the edge of this area. This makes Lilly’s Boshuisje a lovely base for walking and cycling, followed by a peaceful evening in your own hot tub. The personal attention from owners Rob and Renate makes your stay just that little bit cosier.
