On the outskirts of Horst town centre lies Hostellerie Horst: a lovely place to settle in for a while, whether you’re travelling for work or want to get away for a few days. The atmosphere is warm and contemporary, just as you’d expect in North Limburg. Your hosts, Charles and Thera, extend a warm welcome. They are well-known figures in Horst: they have been active in the hospitality industry since 1999. After years in the restaurant business, they felt the urge to start something new. That dream took shape as Hostellerie Horst.
The hostellerie is housed in a characterful building with a history. For over a century, the building served as the Verbruggen family’s smithy. In 2018, the old smithy was carefully converted into a charming place to stay.
Hostellerie Horst now has 15 spacious rooms, including 1 suite, 4 family rooms and several double rooms. In the morning, you’ll start the day off right with a fresh breakfast: a selection of breads, tasty spreads, fresh fruit, an egg and, of course, coffee or tea. Is the sun shining? Then you can enjoy it all even more on the terrace.
