Who is this a real getaway for?

Hiepterhof is ideal for families, groups of friends, campervan travellers and horse lovers. The apartments can be booked individually, but can also be combined to accommodate larger groups. Thanks to the playground and outdoor area, families quickly feel at home here. One of the larger apartments has a wheelchair-accessible ground floor with a bedroom and a spacious bathroom. If you’re travelling with someone who has limited mobility, please discuss in advance which accommodation is most suitable.

At the Hiepterhof in Broekhuizen, everything revolves around good farming and a cosy way of life. Ever since 1948, the Cuijpers family has been dedicated to the land, the animals and their guests. What began with chickens, cows and asparagus has grown into a place full of life and innovation. Today, Erick and Linda run the farm.

With young cattle, horses, holiday flats and campervan pitches, the Hiepterhof has become a place where you can experience farm life up close. And where you can simply just be. Because let’s face it: feet in the grass, the sun on your face and a good story to go with it… isn’t that just pure gold? Stay in one of the five holiday flats. These can be rented individually or as group accommodation. There are also eight campervan pitches where you can really make yourself at home.

When will you visit?

The motorhome pitches are open all year round. This makes Hiepterhof a lovely stop-off point during a peaceful winter trip. In spring and summer, you can relax on the veranda with a view of the horses. During the colder months, the spacious apartments offer greater comfort.

What to expect.

Hiepterhof has three apartments for up to five people and two apartments for up to nine people. All apartments feature a kitchen, living room, bathroom, Wi-Fi and a veranda. There is also a recreation room, a playground, a table tennis table and a space to spend time together outdoors.

The eight motorhome pitches have their own electricity supply. Facilities are provided for drinking water, waste water, cassette toilets and sanitary facilities. The motorhome pitches are located approximately one kilometre from the Pieterpad.

When are you welcome?

For the apartments, you can check in from 3.30 pm. On the day of departure, you normally leave the apartment by 10.00 am. If you’re leaving on a Sunday, you can usually stay until 7.00 pm.

The motorhome sites are available all year round. Booking is not compulsory, but letting us know in advance gives you greater certainty. You must leave the motorhome site by 12 noon.

Our tip for your visit

Bring your own bike or enquire in advance about bike hire options. From Broekhuizen, you can easily cycle towards the River Maas and the surrounding villages. Back at the farm, you can simply settle back down on your own veranda.

Drive from Broekhuizen to the Arcen Castle Gardens, in the municipality of Venlo. There, you can stroll through various gardens and explore a historic castle. A truly wonderful day out in North Limburg!
