This will not end well

Recognition, everyone craves it. To be seen, to be appreciated, to matter. But what if that affirmation fails to materialise? If your words fail to penetrate, your talent goes unnoticed, your place is always taken by someone else? Jealousy rears its head, vanity falters, insecurity gnaws at you.

For artists, recognition is their bread, and so Suze Milius zooms in on their biotope in the musical performance This will not end well. We observe a group of artists being interviewed during their collaboration. But it soon emerges that nothing is what it seems: one artist speaks the words of another. And in the intonation, underlying tensions are painfully exposed.
