The Language of Music

12 workshops on music theory, rhythmic skills and reading music.
The ‘Language of Music’ workshops always consist of two sessions. In the first session, you’ll be introduced to musical notation in a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll work on your rhythmic skills and learn how to read a score. In the second session, you’ll practise new pieces with the choir, as well as a piece that you looked at and practised during the first hour. Practice materials are available. Under the enthusiastic guidance of our conductor Gerda Hendrikx, it promises to be a fun and interesting adventure. “WOULD YOU LIKE TO SING? ……… THEN THIS IS YOUR CHANCE.”
Introductory evening ‘The Language of Music’: Tuesday 6 October from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
