Aladdin is a brave young man with a big heart. But ALSO a bit unlucky... No matter how hard he tries, he gets fired at every market stall. Even though he only wants one thing: to make sure no one in the village ever goes hungry again. But how do you take care of the people around you if you can't even hold down a job to take care of yourself? Fortunately, the market merchant sees Aladdin for the good boy he is and takes him under his wing.

When his clumsy elephant friend Boeboe accidentally knocks over a stall, they stumble across a book about the magical Cave of Wonders. A hidden place deep in the desert, where all your dreams can come true. While fantasising about this magical place and dreaming of adventure, Aladdin suddenly looks deep into the eyes of the beautiful princess Layla. He is instantly in love. All the while Princess Layla is on her way to announce her engagement to Prince Rashid, whom she doesn't actually like at all. Secretly, she likes Aladdin much more! But her mother, the Sultana, doesn't like the idea of her daughter running off with a poor slob.

After the encounter, Aladdin has only one wish left: to be together with the princess forever. And so, together with elephant Boeboe, he sets off to the magical cave to make his dreams come true. When this cave reveals itself to Aladdin, it turns out to be full of treasures. But as soon as Aladdin touches the gold, the entrance collapses and he is trapped! In an attempt to escape, he finds a magic lamp, from which two spirits suddenly emerge. From this hilarious duo, he gets to make four wishes. But his biggest wish, Princess Layla's love, cannot be granted by them. Because, of course, you can't force feelings.

Together, they devise a plan: Aladdin must become a prince! With the help of his buddy Boo Boo and the witty duo, he takes up the challenge. Will they succeed in turning the street urchin into a real prince?
