Nasrdin Dchar

Wednesday 7 April 2027

Five years he was away from the boards - but luckily Nasrdin Dchar is back. After four particularly successful performances about four particularly personal stories, he is now making perhaps his most intimate performance, together with his regular director Floris van Delft.

Everyone is scared, but Nasrdin is really a fear monger. He doesn't often show it, but meanwhile one doomsday scenario after another shoots through his mind. About his own health, about the future of the world, but also about little things like the fruit sprinkles he just bought in the supermarket.

In What if... Dchar takes the audience on a sometimes hilarious and sometimes oppressive journey through the haunted house in his head. Because what should we really be afraid of and what will really be all right?

About Nasrdin Dchar Nasrdin previously made four successful solo programmes. In OUMI (mother), Nasrdin played his mother and, with her, an entire generation of Moroccan women. In DAD (father), Nasrdin played his father and entered into dialogue with him. In addition, he reflected on his own fatherhood. In JA, Nasrdin showed how bumpy the path of love can be. He told the story of the love between him and his wife Amy. In season 21-22, Nasrdin played the aforementioned three performances in one evening with his Family Chronicle. During the pandemic, he also made the show ADEM about the chaos of 2020.
