A fish can't fall Xam (16 years old) stands ready in the pool changing room. She hears screaming girls, banging boys, but she goes to do what she loves best: swimming. Swimming costume on, towel over her shoulder, but suddenly she doesn't know how to open the cubicle. Even though she never thought about it before. From this cubicle, this deep-sea diva is inundated with Sjengen, orcas, Disney and all that jazz. If only on earth it was like deep sea where it doesn't matter if your fins are blue or orange, you just exist. A boundless world she took for granted as a 4-year-old. Even then, she swam determinedly against the current as she refused her own trousers and stole her sister's skirts. Now she stands against the tide, in a changing room, entangled in the why-question of everyone around her. Xam is a perfectly normal girl who loves drama, singing and musicals. Isn't that enough? Or is that already too much? The one-woman show of a deep-sea diva.
