Put on your walking boots and off you go. During the Venray Walking Event, you’ll discover Venray and the surrounding area from a different direction every day. That makes every day of walking unique. Along the way, there’s time to cover plenty of kilometres, but also to take a breather at one of the rest stops.
The great thing about the Venray Walking Event is the variety. The routes head in a different direction every day. This means you get to see a different part of Venray and the surrounding area along the way.
Scattered along the routes, you’ll find various rest stops. Minicamping De Linde in Merselo has also served as one such rest stop on one of the walking days in recent years.
Would you like to turn the Walking Event into a short break? During the event, you can also go camping at Minicamping De Linde.
The mini-campsite is situated on the Haag in Merselo and has 25 tourist camping pitches. You can enjoy a small-scale camping experience surrounded by greenery. It’s ideal if you want to start your day’s walking straight from your pitch in the morning and don’t have to go home afterwards.
The walking event is ideal for experienced walkers who enjoy covering long distances, but is just as suitable for those who simply want to enjoy a day outdoors. The varied routes and rest stops ensure that it’s not just the finish line that counts.
It’s on the road that it really happens. A quiet path, a chat with another walker and that lovely moment when you set off again after a break.
