The hilarious golden oldie comedy 'BOEING BOEING' was last performed 15 years ago with Jon van Eerd in one of the leading roles. This season, he will direct this theatre stunner in a refreshing adaptation.
In this pricelessly funny comedy, we see businesswoman Eva (Loiza Lamers) who has no fewer than three lovers. In her luxury holiday villa by the sea, she celebrates her holidays according to a tight schedule in which the men, three pilots, will basically never run into each other and Eva herself so
optimal enjoyment. She thought so! Because she hadn't counted on a series of unexpected events in flight schedules and a storm over the ocean causing things to get pretty messy. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the arrival of sucky and unworldly friend Connie (Rian Gerritsen) complicates things a whole lot more. Eva's family friend and penniless influencer Arthur (Barry Beijer), also makes a nice contribution to a situation that is crammed with misunderstandings and panic. Air Italia Gino (Patrick Martens), Air France Louis (Thomas Cammaert) and Lufthansa Ludwig (Loek Peters) are simultaneously threatening to blow out their landing gear, quickly turning romantic plans into an emergency the likes of which international aviation has never experienced before.
What should have been a pleasant, romantic and varied holiday soon turns into an international approach full of pricelessly crazy misunderstandings, silly confusions and madcap panic! It promises to be an adventure where you will see the venue explode in a roar like never before, nail-biting nerves and wobbling in your chair in disbelief.
Sit up straight and have a good trip!
