The world is full of ideas and energy. Everything and everyone races around you like a roller coaster. This gives you wings and can also sometimes completely overwhelm you with sounds and stimuli. Until you no longer know what is above and below. Then you can long for silence. No din, no expectations, no pressure, no chaos. But then when it finally becomes quiet... inside it sounds even louder.

With this performance packed with music, dance and play, we follow one young person into that bustling world. Think of a rushed breakfast table, an overheated arrival at a buzzing schoolyard, an irritatingly ticking class during a test and tig missed messages. Swirling around our protagonist are musicians, dancers and actors who make all thoughts tangible. All doubts, impulses, desires are given a body, a voice, a rhythm. They dance, whisper, collide, rage and echo through the day. A day when the youngster looks for rebellion. Not a loud protest. But a breathtaking search for silence.

Stiltestorm features a hugely diverse palette of music. With fast-rolling lyrics, we explore what happens when you want to be quiet but your inner world is screaming. And moving and dancing, we ask the question: can silence be something other than emptiness? Slowly, a different kind of silence emerges. Not cold and lonely, but warm and full. Not turning off sound, but tuning into yourself.

Stiltestorm is an inner journey through chaos, longing and stillness, until you hear what really wants to be heard.
