Grab 'n Go

'Grab-n-Go' follows two people with different visions of change. One clings hopelessly to what she knows, the other is never in the same place long enough to get grounded. The performance takes on the human being who prefers to stay at a distance from the ever-thriving world. Is it possible to stand still these days?

This musical theatre performance is a humorous struggle for contentment, where the initially peaceful inner world of Pamela and her singing shop products (a three-piece folk band) escalates into a manic techno invasion, ending in the ashes of the Grab-n-Go.

In this whirlwind called life, there are only a few people who are satisfied with their fixed location. One of them is Pamela. She has found her peaceful utopia, and it is in the Grab-n-Go. However, her paradise is in danger of being disrupted by LED screens and self-scanning checkouts.

Gas station shop: this is where Pamela wants to spend the rest of her life. Here she can endlessly fill the shelves and mop the floors. She has now befriended the shop's produce, who encourage her in her tasks while singing. However, there is a problem: the owner of the Grab-n-Go has decided that the shop will undergo a modern makeover and, as a result, there will no longer be a place for Pamela. However, she refuses to accept this and surrender her home to this radical revamp.

On Pamela's last working day, hip motorbike chick Pim walks into the shop. The two get talking about Pamela's impossible dream of staying where she is forever. Pim, who himself knows nothing but constant movement, decides to convince Pamela to go along in the rebranding.
