Camping at Minicamping De Linde feels like catching peace without the hassle. Here you are among greenery, close to woods, heathland and fine trails. Spacious pitches, a warm welcome and waking up to birdsong: this is how your day starts right here.
Who is this a real getaway for?
This is one such place for people who like small and friendly camping. For couples who want to hike and cycle, for families who want their children to play outside and for campers who like a personal welcome with a chat. Also, if you like nature close by and don't feel like crowds, this is the place to be.
When will you visit?
From spring onwards, it is already nice here. Especially if you fancy fresh mornings, a quiet field and long walks through the Peel or towards the Maasduinen. In summer, you'll be comfortable here too, with lots of greenery around you and plenty to do nearby. And if Easter falls early, the campsite is sometimes open as early as the end of March, according to its own site.
What to expect.
You camp here at a small-scale farm campsite with 25 tourist pitches on the edge of the Peel. The atmosphere is quiet and warm, with spacious pitches, clean and modern sanitary facilities and routes that start almost at your doorstep. Did you know that De Linde was voted best campsite in the Netherlands by Vekabo in 2008? That says enough about the care and love that goes into this place.
For a nice stay, feel free to set aside a long weekend or a few days here, but a full holiday is also entirely appropriate. You are in a varied landscape near the Boschhuizerbergen, a five-minute walk away. The campsite is car-free, so that feels extra quiet; only on arrival and departure are you allowed to take your car to your spot to load and unload, after that it is parked in the car park. Free wifi is available and you get it on arrival. Also access to the campsite app with info on routes, shops and tips nearby.
When are you welcome?
Minicamping De Linde is open from 1 April to 1 October. For arrivals, you are welcome from 1pm. Between 16.30 and 18.00 there is no arrival, as it is dinner time for a while. If Easter falls early, the campsite may sometimes open a little earlier. For exact arrival rules, especially in high season, it is smart to check their own site before leaving.

Our tip for your visit
On your first evening, don't immediately grab the car, just put on your walking shoes and take a short walk from the campsite. Just towards the end of the day, when it gets quieter and you only hear birds and rustling trees, you really feel why this place is so nice. Afterwards, your coffee or first drink on your camping pitch will taste even better.
