In spring and summer, it is wonderful to wake up among gardens and vineyards. In autumn, wine tasting fits in nicely with the atmosphere of the estate. On chilly days, this is especially a place to land quietly after a walk through the greenery.

What to expect.

Hoeve Roozendael is located on the outskirts of Reuver, in a quiet spot among gardens, vineyard and rural greenery. The B&B is described as a small-scale farmhouse with rooms with sitting area, private bathroom and garden views. There is free wifi, tea and coffee in the hall and a fridge and microwave in the breakfast room.

The place doesn't feel like a standard overnight stay. You stay on an estate that cyclists and hikers love to visit. The vineyard was created in the early 2000s and covers about 2 hectares. Did you know that grape varieties such as Regent, Solaris and Johanniter grow here?

The atmosphere is calm and personal. Do not expect a big hotel riot, but a farmstead where you have a quiet breakfast in the morning, then put on your walking shoes and the day opens up by itself. Just North Limburg as it is: green, hospitable and unhurried.

For Hoeve Roozendael, you prefer to stay one to three nights. One night is fine as a stopover, but a weekend gives you time for Reuver, Kessel, Beesel and a walk or bike ride along the Meuse. The farmhouse is about a 15-minute walk from Reuver train station and less than 5 kilometres from the German border. Parking is free at the accommodation.

When will it be launched?

Hoeve Roozendael operates as an accommodation and tasting location on request.
