A glimpse into Venlo’s history
Café de Gaaspiep on Kleine Kerkstraat has been a household name in Venlo for over sixty years. The café’s name refers to the site’s history, when Nolensplein was also known as Gaasplein and there was a gasworks nearby. Today, De Gaaspiep remains an authentic traditional pub where regulars and new visitors come together for a well-poured beer, lively conversation and the genuine Venlo atmosphere.
