Sleeping between Leuker Lake and Reinders Lake, waking up to fresh local produce and heading straight into the Maasduinen. At B&B op de Halve Maan, everything is about peace, fresh air and Jan and Carin's fine attention.
Who would enjoy a stay here?
B&B op de Halve Maan is perfect for couples looking to recharge their batteries together for a few days. Walkers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet will also feel right at home here. You can step straight into the Maasduinen from the doorstep, without having to drive anywhere first.
Two rooms, complete tranquillity
You’ll stay in a small-scale B&B with two identical rooms, both with their own entrance and private bathroom. Coffee and tea are always available for you in the communal area. Breakfast, featuring fresh local produce, is included, with lactose-free, gluten-free or vegetarian options available on request.
Right between two lakes
The B&B is situated between Lake Leukermeer and Lake Reindersmeer, in a quiet corner of the Maasduinen. Carin is a nature guide for the area and is happy to help you plan a lovely walking or cycling route. Parking is free on site, and your bike will be safe in the lockable cycle shed, which has a charging point.
Worth a visit in every season
In spring, you can walk along the water’s edge; in summer, you can relax by the Leukermeer. As soon as autumn paints the woods in warm colours, this is the place to return to for a long weekend. And it’s lovely here even on a crisp winter’s day: enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then head out into the Maasduinen with rosy cheeks.
