Pavilion on the Meuse

A fine waterfront spot overlooking the Meuse and the marina. This is where you slide in for coffee, lunch or dinner with that real holiday feeling in Venlo.

Who is this a real getaway for?

For anyone who loves views, tranquillity and a relaxing place by the water. Fine for lunch, a cosy evening or a stopover during a day in Venlo.

When will you visit?

On a sunny day, you will naturally prefer to sit here on the terrace, but even on a quiet afternoon or evening, this is one of those places where you like to linger a little longer.

What to expect.

You are seated here on the first floor above the port office, with a nice view over the Meuse River and marina. The menu features lunch, dinner and drinks in a casual atmosphere. Did you know that Rob and Karen have been running the pavilion since June 2024?

It's easy to linger here for a few hours. Parking is available right next to the pavilion on the grounds of WSV De Maas. Keep in mind that you reach the restaurant via stairs. For dietary requirements, it is best to contact us in advance.

When are you welcome?

Friday, Saturday and Sunday you are welcome from 12:00 to 22:00. Monday and Tuesday you are welcome from 16:00 to 21:00. Wednesday and Thursday the pavilion is closed.

Our tip for your visit

Go at the end of the afternoon. Then you'll have that beautiful view over the water AND you'll often automatically stick around for dinner.

Region tip: The icon in the neighbourhood

Combine your visit with the Limburgs Museum in Venlo. First into the city and then plopping down by the water is a very nice combo. https://www.limburgsmuseum.nl/
