Keti Koti

On 30 June and 1 July 2026, a two-day Keti Koti event will take place in Venlo for the second time, along with a fringe programme from 16 June to 29 June 2026. This is the time when we commemorate the slavery past and celebrate its abolition.

Through stories from our shared history, music, theatre, film, spoken word, rituals and traditional snacks, together we once again create a meaningful space for reflection and connection.

30 June from 7.00 pm – Maaspoort (Oude Markt 30) 1 July from 3.00 pm – Limburgs Museum (Keulsepoort 5) 1 July from 6.00 pm – Café Montego Bay (Heutzstraat 34)

Keti Koti Venlo is accessible free of charge. The full programme will be announced soon.
