On Saturday 11 July, sporting heritage comes to life in the castle garden of De Keverberg. During The 8 of Kessel, you will discover historical sports and games at the foot of the castle and along the river Meuse.
From bowling and mast climbing to tug-of-war, Old Dutch games and spectacular Highland Games, there is plenty to see and do. Expect demonstrations, clinics, music, children's activities, catering and competitions full of power and technique.
Entry is free. Fun for young and old, whether you come to participate or just watch.
