Voice Training Workshop: ‘Technique supports expression’

A singing workshop to experience how you can influence the expression of your singing through technique.
Voice training for experienced and budding singers. Voice Training Workshop on 12 September 2026 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm Under the motto ‘Technique supports expression’, you’ll discover in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that technique underpins expression. Expression requires the right emotion. Space for the sound, appropriate articulation and a steady breath all help with this. Lyrics may call for tenderness one moment and joy, anger or passion the next. Let it be heard. Under the enthusiastic guidance of conductor Gerda Hendrikx, the techniques learnt will be put into practice straight away using enjoyable song excerpts. Practice materials will, of course, be provided.
