Funfair in Venray

Will you have a go at breakdancing, try your hand at ring toss, or would you rather order a slush puppy? It’s all up to you, because the fair in Venray kicks off on Friday 31 July!
The Venray funfair is just around the corner again! From Friday 31 July to Wednesday 5 August 2026 , you can enjoy this funfair full of atmosphere, conviviality and fun for young and old alike. In the centre of Venray, you’ll find spectacular rides, great music and, of course, plenty of delicious fairground treats. From a thrilling ride on the Time Machine to leisurely enjoying oliebollen, candyfloss and other sweet treats: there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The funfair is the perfect place to spend a fun-filled day or evening with family, friends or colleagues. For children, there are fun rides and games, whilst thrill-seekers can have a brilliant time on the bigger and faster rides. Come along, enjoy the festive atmosphere and have an unforgettable time together at the funfair in Venray!
Fireworks display
One of the highlights of the fair is the festive fireworks display. On Tuesday 4 August at 10.30 pm, the evening sky above Venray will be lit up in a riot of colour. The fireworks display will take place in the municipal gardens.

Accessibility and parking
Temporary traffic measures will be in place in the centre of Venray whilst the fair is being set up and during the fair itself. Various car parks, squares and streets will therefore be temporarily closed. For example, De Wetteling car park, Raadhuisstraat car park, Schouwburgplein, Henseniusplein and the Grote Markt will be inaccessible to general traffic for part of this period.
Please be aware of increased traffic by following the local diversions and, where possible, travelling to the town centre by public transport or by bike. During the fair, there are two temporary parking spaces for visitors with a disabled parking permit on Raadhuisstraat, in front of the Jerusalemflat.
Secure cycle parking
The secure cycle park is located at the junction of Raadhuisstraat and Jerusalem (to the right of the town hall).
Bicycle park opening hours:
Friday 31 July: 2.30 pm – 2.00 am
Saturday 1 August: 12.30 – 03.00
Sunday 2 to Tuesday 4 August: 12.30 – 02.00
Wednesday 5 August: 12.30 – 00.00
Please note: outside opening hours, the cycle park is neither monitored nor locked. So please collect your bike in good time.
