Presentation Photographer Jan Janssen

National Geographic winning photographer Janssen will give a presentation at 't Gasthoês. He will show impressive photos with gripping stories taken during his travels through the Himalayan mountains from countries including Nepal, India and Tibet. His latest long-term photo project through Central and Eastern Europe will also be featured frequently this evening. Janssen quotes, "Travelling is inseparable from my work. It offers me the chance to discover who I am. My inspiration comes mainly from my encounters with fellow human beings, the contradictions in our lives or our surroundings. The chosen photographs show how important contact with the outside world is for us. Often colourful and with a social perspective on everyday life." The presentation will be given at 't Gasthoês in Horst on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. There will be a short break halfway through. The ticket price is €10.00 per person.
