After an unforgettable summer romance, Danny and Sandy think their story is over, until they meet again on the first day of school at Rydell High. What felt natural during the holidays suddenly turns out to be complicated at school. Danny tries to uphold his tough image among the T-Birds, while Sandy seeks her place among the Pink Ladies. Between gossip, school parties, fast dance moves and doubts about who they want to be, misunderstandings grow. Groups of friends clash, expectations are raised and everyone struggles with the question: will I stay myself, or adapt to fit in? will I stay myself, or adapt to fit in?
