When furniture salesman Clark discovers a hidden portal in the basement of his shop, he becomes trapped in another reality; the so-called Backrooms.
His therapist tries to rescue him and discovers a mysterious labyrinth of abandoned office spaces that not only seem infinite, but also keep changing.
As time fades, just out of sight something inhuman also appears to lurk.
